Think Pro Bloggers Way!
If you are starting your self as a blogger, you just dont go and start posting thinking you have become a blogger.
Being a blogger means you need to think about many aspect of your blog before you open it to the users.
Design
Does your blog really look professional, no! then you might be in trouble, blog design is the first most important exercise of your blogging career, if you cant offer your readers a sleek design they might not find you and your blog interesting, some might not even think abt revisiting, bye bye bloggings 
Missing Important Pages
Oh the most common mistake is that you miss important pages, take a look and think what are you missing
About Page
Contact Page
Archives Page
Advertising Page (not for free blogs)
About Page
This is where you go, it can be your profile, can be your myspace page, can be your hobbies and interests, but trust me dont miss it, some where in your blog a link should take ysers to your profile.
Contact Page
People do ask questions. if you are a blogger you need to answer them, it can be anything, from critism to i love you messages, from how you do to why you do, make sure there is a page for your readers to contact you. oh you can contact me by sending pm on CommonGate :P
Archives
People dont want to waste time in searching if they cant find what they are looking for in one page. so keep your hands tight and give them archives, its not for small sites with less pages, but when you start to grow large you might need it.
Advertise Page
You might want to put advertisement on your blog, so let it be. incoming and out going links are usefull for both you and your readers, give them benifits, tell them who you are and how much it will cost, and offcourse your contact number.
Imagerial Approach
Images widely reflect the topic of your post and looks attractive. make sure you post with images. graphics representation makes the reader look easy at your post, if u manage to find some funny images, do post them. but make sure they reflect the topic of your post.
Feeds
RSS feeds are the most important part of your blog, make sure u make a big badge of you RSS feeds and it should look visible and clear on all the pages. and oh dont forget to ask your readers to subscibe it politely. I`m sure u will join my CommonGate feed too hehehe :P
404 Pages Disaster
404 pages on your blog is a total disaster for you, dont give them 404 pages if u make a page, make sure it stays there, either make a annoucement that you have change the page location. else people will leave the site as fast as they entered.
